A transplant from Illinois, Nancy received her BFA from Mundelein College in Chicago. Although her career took her in a different direction, she has always been an avid artist. She entered the banking industry shortly after college, and continued on in the accounting field which eventually led to a second degree and finally brought her to Florida with her son in 1987. She worked for a Cruise Line out of Miami for several years before coming to the Gulf Coast and to Worthington Country Club.
As the longest-employed member of the Worthington staff, Nancy has been a “fixture” at Worthington since 1992, starting as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable clerk, working her way up to Assistant Controller and eventually taking over as Controller in 2000. In addition to preparing monthly Financial statements and supervising of the Accounting Department, she works hand in hand with the General Manager and the Finance Committee in preparation of the annual Budget and external Audit, as well as a representative to the Human Resources Committee.
